Welcome to the Interior Design Society of Connecticut, the first professional design organization specific to our unique region. The new Connecticut chapter of The Interior Design Society (IDS) offers its members community, education, business support and exciting, new opportunities. With benefits, resources and special events specific to Long Island, IDS membership is valuable and rewarding for our region’s professionals.
Interior Design Society, an independent national organization more than 2,000 members strong, is one of the country's largest design organizations dedicated to serving the residential interior design industry. IDS National Headquarters is located in High Point, North Carolina, the world's home furnishings capital.
Swatched 2024
Our 7th annual "Swatched" IDS Long Island Gala and Fundraiser took place on October 10, 2024 at the Crest Hollow Country Club and it was the best one yet! Designers participated in a fun filled "Swatched" game, creating amazing mood boards, using materials from the industry Sponsors. The mood boards were judged by a panel of celebrity judges and awarded prizes to the winners. Raffle prizes are donated by generous community businesses and a great time was had by all!
